"Know your purpose here! Know what you stand for! Never settle for anything less than the best! Love everyone, but know who should have front row seats in your life and who should be in the nose bleed section! Most importantly live for, trust, and believe in GOD!"
DaKyissa Hall, (pronounced duh-key-sa), is definitely one of a kind and truly a hidden talent coming out of the Midwest. In late 2007, Kyissa (nickname she typically goes by), began exploring Acting, a talent/dream that has been built inside of her forever. Her career began through a local casting agency in Indianapolis, IN and she actually booked her first job on her first audition ever. Kyissa absolutely loves acting and has continued to enhance her skill with hopes of being in commercials, sitcoms, and movies one day.
Soon after beginning her acting career, DaKyissa began exploring Modeling. She became an independent model in January 2008 and began working hard to enhance her skill. DaKyissa has gone through much denial, negative criticism, and even scams during her time as a model but that hasn't stopped her and it never will. She considers herself a commercial/print model, but doesn’t limit herself to that. Kyissa has a very unique look that sets her outside of the norm in this industry. She believes that barriers are meant to be broken and she plans to do just that. “As long as I believe in myself & in God, anything is possible!” DaKyissa is now currently represented by Heyman Talent and is currently working on representation from a major agency. “I really want to be a Cover Girl and star in a Tyler Perry and Lifetime movie/sitcom : )!"
DaKyissa doesn’t stop at Modeling & Acting. With her recently received BA in Sociology from IUPUI, she has plans to help underprivileged youth. “I am working towards starting my own youth program and eventually plan to open up my own youth center for underprivileged children."
Note from Kyissa: “I think I have one of the best families in the world and I love each of them with all my heart! Thank you all for the support, encouragement, love, and life lessons. Special thanks to my cousin, Randal Baker, for making my website for me. I really appreciate it! Last but not least, thanks to everyone that shows me love and support! It is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten."
